Team discussing outcomes after an experiment review

Client stories

Specific moments from Experiment Performance Reviews, design sessions, and weekly readouts — including the occasional friction.

“We had two variants and three opinions. Datastackpoint walked through our assignment logs and showed that a chunk of Android traffic never saw the new paywall. Once that was fixed in the story, the “win” looked much smaller — and we avoided a messy rollout.”

Mild caveat: The written readout is thorough; set aside time to brief stakeholders rather than forwarding the PDF cold.

“The weekly slot forced us to stop treating mid-week dips as emergencies. Nalinee kept bringing us back to the planned window and the guardrails we had ignored.”

Weekly Experiment Readouts

“Our “booking complete” event fired on the confirmation screen load, not on confirmed appointment. The health check caught it before we ran another pricing test on bad ground.”

“I wanted five variants. The consultation pushed us to two clear arms and one primary metric. Launch felt slower, but the post-test conversation was finally calm.”

Mild caveat: They will not rubber-stamp a sprawling test matrix — come ready to cut scope.

“The follow-up Q&A helped our copywriter understand why a higher click rate still failed the retention guardrail. That shared language stuck for the next quarter.”

Paywall test that looked finished — until assignment logs spoke

A consumer finance app in Greater Bangkok closed a two-variant paywall test after three weeks. Overall conversion favored the new layout. During the Experiment Performance Review we compared assignment counts with first-screen exposure and found a cluster of Android users counted in the treatment arm who never rendered the new paywall because of a delayed feature flag.

Once those sessions were set aside, the lift shrank below the minimum the product team had agreed was worth shipping. Guardrail refund rates also looked quieter without the tainted traffic. The team kept the control, fixed the flag, and relaunched with a clearer exposure definition.
